Application of steel pipe
Steel pipes are hollow and usually cylindrical sections that are mainly used to transport flowable materials, such as liquids, gases, slurries, and powders. Steel pipes are also used to build structures. Hollow sections of stainless steel tubing are much stiffer based on unit weight than solid sections. The pipe is made of various materials including ceramic, glass, fiberglass, many metals, concrete and plastic. In the past, wooden and lead pipes were also common.
Metal pipes are typically made of steel or iron alloys, such as carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and unbreakable cast iron. Pipes made of inconol alloys, chromium-molybdenum steel and titanium are used for high temperatures and pressures in process plant installations and power plants.
Types of steel profiles
Pars Inox is an importer of stainless steel profiles. Steel profiles are made by large manufacturers under a complete chain melting process until final testing. All stages of steel profile production are under the control and opinion of engineers and specialists. Steel profiles are produced in different grades, but in Iran, grades 302, 201 and 420 are the most used.
Applications of steel profiles
Stainless steel profiles are widely used for decorative and industrial purposes. For example, they are also used to produce various fences and guards for buildings. In general, steel cans or profiles are widely used in industrial structures and oil, chemical and gas industries.
About seamed pipe
Seamed steel pipes in grades 304 and 316 have the highest consumption. To make the seamed pipe, steel sheets and welding are used. For this purpose, the sheets are cut to the desired thickness based on the size of the pipe, and after passing through the rolling rollers, they become round. Welded pipes are produced by two methods of submerged arc welding (SAW) and electric resistance welding. Due to the process of making a seamless pipe, the amount of pressure tolerance in a seamless pipe is less than a seamless pipe.
Application of welded pipe
Seamed pipes are mostly used to produce various types of construction profiles, boiler pipes, gas pipes.
